According to The Sun, on Wednesday gunmen stormed Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State and abducted Ebikeme Clark, son of Ijaw chieftain, Chief Edwin Clark.
The Kidnappers allegedly emerged from water in the evening and whisked Ebikeme to an unknown destination.
Ebikeme contested the last elections to represent Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and his kidnap is currently generating ripples in Delta state.
Meanwhile, the Delta state Police command says its doing its best to ensure Ebikeme's sfe release.
