Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State and other top government officials are currently under the radar of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged financial fraud, a source has said
A top official of the EFCC, who spoke to Daily Sun yesterday in Abuja, revealed that the Secretary to State Government (SSG), Commissioner for Finance as well as the state’s Accountant-General have been detained by the EFCC in Abuja.
The source also said Governor Nyako is also under investigation, adding that his immunity does not exempt him from being investigated.
