The gubernatorial pole in Imo state has been declared inconclusive by The Independent National Electoral Commission Returning Officer for Imo State, Prof. Oye Ibidapo-Obe.
The decision was taken because the number of votes in areas where election did not take place was higher than the margin between the two main candidates. Governor Okorocha polled 385,071 while his main rival Ihedioha of PDP polled 306,142
The supplementary elections will be arranged for another date.
