Thibaut Courtois has signed a new five-year contract with Chelsea which will keep him at the club until 2019.
The Belgian international was this season made the Chelsea's first choice keeper,replacing Petr Cech in goal and the 22-year old has gone on to make three appearances as the number one.
"Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce Thibaut Courtois has today signed a new five-year contract" the club said on its official website
There are reports claiming that Courtois will now be earning as much as £90,000 per week.
"I’m very happy with this new deal, it’s really nice to have signed this new contract for five years," the Belgian told the club's official website.
"My future was already sorted but it’s nice to know I’m going to be here for another five years and now I can just concentrate on playing games."
