THIS DAY reported that the Biafra Zionist Movement (BZM),has claimed responsibility for the Saturday attack on the Enugu State Government House.
Leader of the BZM,Benjamin Onwuka who addressed newsmen in Enugu faulted the Enugu state Police Commissioner, Mohammed Adamu for blaming the outlawed Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) for the attack.
Onwuka said that the invasion of the Enugu state government house to hoist the flag of the Republic of Biafra and not to attack or abduct Governor Sullivan Chime. He said his group succeeded in the mission and took charge of the Enugu government house for four hours before security operatives showed up.
