Sports Enyimba Hire Paul Aigbogun As New Manager

Enyimba football club's media officer, Farriel Alaputa, has confirmed that the seven-time Nigerian professional football league champions, Enyimba have appointed Paul Aigbogun as their new head coach.

The former Warri Wolves gaffer takes the baton from Kadiri Ikhana, who was sacked following an alleged feud with the management of the club.

“Coach Aigbogun and our chairman (Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu) have held talks and I can confirm to you that he (Aigbogun) has been confirmed as the new coach of the club,” Allaputa told supersport.com.

Aigbogun returns to Enyimba where he worked in the 2012/13 season amongst a consortium of coaches that included current Enugu Rangers coach, Imama Amapakabo and current Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf. supersport
