Ex Ekiti PDP secretary Tope Aluko, has claimed that Governor Ayo Fayose threatened ex President Goodluck Jonathan to get support for his election in 2014.
Speaking in an interview on Adaba 88.9 FM, Aluko said Fayose told the President that he must win the governorship elections for Jonathan to win his presidential election.
“Fayose was threatening former President Goodluck Jonathan that he (Fayose) must deliver so that Jonathan will win in Southwest," he was quoted as saying.
"All the PDP elders were kept out of picture on the transactions and cash and some of the cash deployed did not get to their destinations," he said.
This caused a fight between Fayose and ex Defence Minister Musiliu Obanikoro, he added.
