World First African Gay Couple Get Divorced

The first African Gay couple, Thoba Sithole and Cameron Modisane, have reportedly gone their seperate ways.

They both made headlines as the first ever African gay couple to tie the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony that caused a stir in South Africa and internationally in 2013.

Announcing the divorce in a statement, one of the party on his Facebook page announced the divorce said although they had planned on having kids through surrogacy, they need to go their separate ways.

When Thoba Sithole and Cameron Modisane wedded in 2013, the pair seemed deeply in love and even talked about raising a family together.
