The Bayelsa state assembly has declared the seat of 4 lawmakers who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC vacant.
According to SAHARA REPORTERS, speaker of the assembly, Kombowei Benson, last Friday declared the seats vacant based on the provision of section 109 sub section 1 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The lawmakers affected include Hon.Fini Angaye (Kolokuma/Opokuma constituency 2); Hon.Alfred Egba,(Yenagoa constituency 1); Hon. Victor Prezi (Ekeremor Constituency 3); and Hon. Azibola Paul Omekwe (Ogbia constituency 1).
