Forbes recently announced a list of the world’s highest earning musicians in 2014, and Dr Dre, 49, was at the number one spot.
According to Forbes’ report, Dr. Dre took the first spot with an estimated 2014 earnings of $620 million.
The 49 years old music producer profited in May from the sale of the Beats headphone company he co-founded to Apple for $3 billion.
The report further indicated that the deal not only made him the world’s top-earning musician of 2014 but also marked the largest single-year earning ever of any musician.
At the second spot was Beyonce.
The 33 years old wife of Jay Z, earned $155 million from her Mrs. Carter tour, a surprise album and several other endorsements deals.
The Eagles finished 3rd with earnings of $100 million.
Bon Jovi came in 4th with 2014 earnings of $82 million.
While Bruce Springsteen, 65, rounded out the top five with $81 million.
Others on the list include:
Katy Perry with $40 million;
Miley Cyrus with $36 million
Lady Gaga with $33 million.
Justin Bieber, 20, with $80 million
One Direction with $75 million.
Taylor Swift finished at No. 11 with $64 million.
