National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday warned aspirants to political offices in the party to forget about “imposition and godfatherism”. Muazu, while handing over the Certificate of Return to Ayo Fayose as the governorship candidate of the party in Ekiti State also called on his opponents at the primary to close ranks with him and support him.
This is even as Fayose himself asked his opponents to forgive whatever wrong he might have done to them during the primary as they were not intended. Mu’azu asked him to reach out to all the aspirants for reconciliation, promising to invite all the other aspirants to a meeting to lend their support to Fayose so that the party could recover the office.
