Former Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo is now without a club after he was released by Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The 33-year old is now a free agent and is in search of a new club where he can play for the new season.

Yobo was loaned out to Norwich City in January this year, after failing to pin down a spot in the Fenerbache team .

It is uncertain where Yobo could head next to,whether he will be able to secure a deal around Europe or go for a final pay-day in the middle East or even in the United States of America.

Acknowledging that he is in the final lap of his playing career,Yobo announced his retirement from international football, after playing a part in Nigeria's campaign at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament.
