Authorities of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) have expelled three of the institution’s undergraduate students over internet fraud and theft.
The university however reprimanded 40 other students for violating its dressing code, while four others dragged before the school’s Students Disciplinary Committee convened on emergency in March and April, 2013 for theft were exonerated.
According to the university’s Bulletin of February 17, 2014 edition, Masters Adeyemi, Daniel Oluwaseyi of the Basic Medical Sciences and Mkperedom, Olalekan Okon of the Arts Faculty were at the 185th Students Disciplinary Committee Meeting of the School held on Monday March 11, found guilty of internet related fraud while Master Wilson, Willy Efe from the Science was sentenced for theft.
