The popular fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, K1 de Ultimate has failed to honour an invitation by the Ogun State police command for interrogations over the alleged shooting of an undergraduate female student of Olabisi Onabanjo University by one of his band boys at Ago Iwoye, Ogun State last week.
Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, had said that the victim sat inside an unregistered Honda car parked beside NASFAT building, opposite Limelite Hotel, in the town, where he performed and had summoned him to appear for interrogation.
“We wanted to get more facts by interrogating the musician, so as to get to the root of the matter”, Adejobi said.
He said the command was told that the musician had left for overseas when his lawyer visited the Area Commander in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.
