At least seven persons were killed on Tuesday morning when suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Guma local government area of Benue state.
According to Vanguard, Fulani herdsmen numbering about 200 stormed Tse-Torkula, Angyom and Tse-Usenda settlements in Guma LG at the early hours of Tuesday when everyone was still at sleep.
The suspected herdsmen killed everything on sight, burned down houses and farmlands. Mr. Frank Adi, Chairman,Guma Local Government council has confirmed the attack while expressing grief that his people have become refugees in their own land.
