Alhaji Umar Duhu is the national vice chairman (North-East) of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In this interview with BODE GBADEBO, he reveals how the opposition party will coast to victory come 2015 just as he allays fears expressed by some legacy members of the party that new entrants, especially the G-5 governors, will hijack the party’s structures.
How do you feel about the recent defection of five PDP governors to your party?
Well, our leaders in the party started the move but as the national vice-chairman North-East, I think I deserve a commendation from my party because I was the first person that did what is culturally acceptable in our society.
