The Presidency has said that President Muhamamdu Buhari-led federal government is ready to evacuate Nigerians in The Gambia if things gets out of hands.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who is optimistic that all will be well said: “federal government is ‘on standby’ to evacuate Nigerians in the Gambia if the need arises”


She posted this in response to a question raised by a Nigerian on the fate of fellow Nigerian citizens living in The Gambia.
