Premium Times alleges that it has procured a 'shocking confidential document' showing the rigging plans of the PDP in favor of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The online newspaper says an insider with the PDP revealed that the plan was the brain-child of a dedicated committee for the purpose. Premium Times admits to not knowing the members of the committee.
It also admits to not knowing if the PDP adopted the recommendations of the plan as the first phase of the voting process has been concluded today.
Olisah Metuh, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP withheld comment on the issue, saying: “I can’t answer for a document I have not seen. We are in the middle of election and we are on the field. Every other thing at this time is diversionary.
“This is no time for accusation and counter accusation. All we want is for this election to be free, fair and credible. If anyone rigs this election, it would be obvious to Nigerians.”
