Politics Gov Udom Inaugurates Coconut Refinery in Akwa Ibom

Governor Udom Emmanuel has inaugurated a coconut refinery in Akwa Ibom state to mark his second year in office.

The refinery is located at Mkpat-Enin, Obolo area of the state.

According to him, coconut was created by God with over 360 uses. He said the refinery will be completed in 18 months and promised to bring in more foreign investors who had declared interest in the project.

He also lamented that some youths were out to frustrate the efforts of his administration and warned that those who destroyed the seedlings at the coconut plantation would be arrested and prosecuted.
