Rivers State's Governor Nyesom Wike, has suspended the state’s Commissioner for Works, Mr Kevin Wachukwu.
In an online statement signed by Wike's Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu on Friday, the governor stated that the suspension was with immediate effect.
The governor also directed that his unnamed Special Adviser on Special Projects should take over the responsibility of supervising projects in the ministry, in the meantime.
