Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has reportedly urged African governments to be strong enough to prevent Western countries from intervening in their national and continental affairs.
According to the New Vision, Museveni said this during celebrations held in South Africa to mark 10 years of the Pan African Parliament.
Museveni said Western powers were taking advantage of Africa's "weakness" and underdevelopment to "re-colonise" the continent.
