The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State Chapter, has voiced its resolve to repel any direct or decoy action aimed at blackmailing or attacking any of its members as it approaches the 2015 general elections.
The Party released a statement in reaction to former Lagos State Governor, Ahmed Tinubu’s alleged accusation that the Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, was concentrating more on Politics than Insecurity – a statement considered to be a fall out of the alleged roles attributed to Senator Obanikoro for PDP to win Ekiti governorship election.
The Lagos State PDP described the former governor’s outburst as not only irrational, but a clear sign of being frustrated as he was desperate to hold on to the southwest and Lagos State in particular.
