LEADERSHIP has published a report featuring hotspots in Nigeria where trouble and violence may erupt as a result of Saturday's election.
In the report, Nigerian states are divided into three represented by traffic light colours- red, amber and green.
The states depicted with red are expected to experience an abundance of violence, the amber states are hovering on the fringes of extreme violence while the green states will experience little or no violence.
The RED states include; North Central (NC) – Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa; North East (NE) – Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba; North West (NW) – Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara; South South (SS) – Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Edo; South East (SE) – Enugu, Imo; South West (SW) – Lagos
AMBER states include: NE – Bauchi, Gombe; NW – Jigawa, Katsina, Sokoto; SE – Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi; SW: Ondo, Oyo, Ogun; NC – Kogi, Niger.
GREEN states include : NC – Kwara; NW – Kebbi; SS – Cross River, Bayelsa; SW – Osun, Ekiti.
