The directive by the lawmakers at a session presided over by Kwamoti Laori, member representing Numan constituency, who acted as the Speaker, with nine other members in attendance, is sequel to the lawmakers’ declaration that both Nyako and his deputy had ‘abandoned their duties’ and were, therefore, evading service of the impeachment notice.
However, the state high court, yesterday, dismissed the application brought by the clerk in the case of Ahmadu Fintiri, speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly versus Governor Murtala Nyako.
