A 35-year-old housewife, Mariya Inusa, of Rafin-Makadi village in Rimi Local government area of Katsina has reported her husband, Inusa Aliyu, the the police on allegations her husband was having sexual intercourse with their 14-year old daughter
Mrs Mariya caught her husband on her daughter one night and involved the police.
She told the police she had long suspected her husband having sexual relations with her daughter and catching them confirmed her suspicions
She later confronted their daughter, who confessed she had been having sex with her father, Mariya explained.
Aliyu admitted to the allegation, but blamed an herbalist who had prepared a good luck charm for him and told him it would work only if he had sex with his daughter.
Police later arrested Aliyu and put him in detention, according to Katsina state police spokesman DSP Gambo Isah.
