The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, #PDP , Ayo #Fayose , on Saturday said he would accept the outcome of the election “whichever way it goes.”
Mr. Fayose made the declaration after casting his vote at 2.10 p.m.at Unit 001 Polling Unit, St. David Primary School, Afao-Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.
“I have campaigned enough, I did all that was necessary in this election; I know my people love me…but I will leave my fate to God,” Mr. Fayose said.
Also speaking, the Bishop of #Ekiti Diocese, Phillip Ajakaiye, urged voters in the state to sustain the peaceful conduct of the governorship election.
