Ekiti State governor-elect, Ayo Fayose, has said no individual or group can declare him unfit for the recently concluded gubernatorial election which he won.
Fayose declared that it was abnormal for a person to be adjudged guilty of an offence preferred against him without court pronouncement.
The governor-elect, who spoke through his media adviser, Idowu Adelusi, said he was not bothered by the decision of All Progressives Congress (APC) to challenge his election at the tribunal. He boasted that he would defeat Fayemi 50 times all over again in the event that there is a repeat election, saying he was happy that the state APC Chairman, Jide Awe, told journalists while submitting the party’s petitions to the tribunal on Saturday that his party was embarrassed over the outcome of the poll.
