The retired former head of state, Major General Muhammadu Buhari has proclaimed that he does not have any politically anointed candidate for any political position I the country, during a sensitisation workshop organised by the Kano All Progressive Congress (APC) Forum for Peace and Equity.
He encouraged those interested in the position to feel free and aspire to it and whoever became the people’s candidate for any local, state of presidential position was his candidate also. APC, according to the retired Major General, was concerned primarily for the future of Nigeria and Nigerians.
The former Governor of Kano State, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau also stressed the importance of unity within the party and its members.
