SATURDAY VANGUARD has uncovered the role of former head of state, General Ibrahim Babangida in settling the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The media house is reporting that Babangida summoned Ahmed Makarfi and Ali Modu Sheriff and directed them to resolve their differences for the interest of the party and the North.
After their meetings with Babangida, Senator Makarfi and Sheriff agreed to meet and find a common ground to resolving the leadership crisis.
Babangida's interference is credit for the peace currently enjoyed in the PDP.
