The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is conducting outstanding legislative re-run elections Imo state.
Here are five things you need to know:
1. The election is majorly between Senator Athan Achonu (PDP) and APC candidate Benjamin Nwajumogu
2. Today's election is coming after three failed attempts, the last attempt fixed for February 20, 2016 abruptly aborted on the eve of the election over alleged threats of insecurity.
3. The Imo Rerun election is taking place in the following local government areas:
1. OKIGWE LGA
2. ONUIMO LGA
3. ISIALA MBANO LGA
4. EHIME MBANO LGA
5. IHITTE UBOMA LGA
6. OBOWO LGA
It has 64 wards and 694 polling units
