Iretiola Doyle, Nollywood high profile actress known for her role in popular soap opera, Tinsel led other Nigerian actors and actresses who emerged winners at the 2014 edition of the Nollywood Movies Awards when she won the Best Lead Female for her role in the movie, ‘Torn.’
Other winners include Mike Ezuruonye who emerged Best Actor in a leading role for his part in the film, 'Unforgivable,' while the producer of the same movie, Dayo Amusa, emerged the Best Actress Indigenous.
Afeez Eniola was announced Best Actor Indigenous for his part in ‘Alakada’ while The Best Movie of the Year award went to ‘A Mile From Home.’
Beautiful actress, Dakore Akande and the likes of Uru Eke, Kayla Oniwo of Cool FM, Gideon Okeke and Denrele Edun ensured that the event lived up to expectation in terms of organisation.
Winners were cheered while nominees were reminded that being nominated was in itself quite an achievement given the flurry of movies being churned out in Nollywood.
