Israeli soldiers shot dead two Palestinians at Israeli roadblocks in the West Bank within 12 hours, medical and security sources said early on Friday.
Palestinian security sources said that a 23-year-old man from the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem was shot dead by an Israeli border police unit at an army roadblock northeast of Bethlehem after midnight.
Witnesses said the young man was immediately killed, and the Israeli border police officers prevented ambulances from reaching the area to pick up the dead body.
