The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega has said on Wednesday that the underfunding of INEC is becoming a big challenge to its operations.
The INEC chairman made this statement at the Resident electoral Commissioners (RECs) quarterly meeting in Abuja.
He complained that in spite of the commission’s enormous responsibility to Nigeria, it was not being adequately funded.
