The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa, Alhaji Salisu Mamuda, on Friday, said members of the party have resolved to remain in the party ``no matter the consequencies.''

Mamuda made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse.

He said ``that no matter the problems, all PDP members in Jigawa have resolved not to dump the party for another.

He added that the decision to stick with the PDP was unanimously agreed to by all stakeholders.

The chairman said ``it is not as if we don’t like PDP as a party, but our major grievance is that we want the correct thing to be done in all ramifications.

``As democrats, we will not leave the party but we will continue to tell our leaders to always do the right thing.

``We will continue to tell our leaders to do and behave according to democratic ideals and principles.’’
