World Joan Rivers of Fashion Police Dies at 81

U.S comedian, Joan Rivers has died.

Rivers who was aged 81 had been on life support in Mount Sinai Hospital since having a cardiac arrest in New York last week.

BBC reported that her daughter, Melissa Rivers announced her death this evening. She said her mother died surrounded by family and friends.

Joan Rivers was a popular comedian, who was particularly famous for her TV show, Fashion Police.

May her not-so-gentle soul rest in peace.

She was one of those genuinely hilarious women (although she was known to cut too close to the marrow sometimes), and while I am not an entertainment nut, I thoroughly enjoyed all of the two Fashion Police shows I ever watched.

A great loss indeed, albeit an eventful life.

I can cry some Rivers for this woman, but i won't. She lived a long life. She's probably in heaven giving the angels good grief over their costumes, too bad we can't watch that
