Politics Jonathan’s Reply to Obasanjo is Shallow and Lacks Merit – Fani-Kayode

Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, an associate of former president Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo has said, in response to Jonathan’s letter reply to Obasanjo, that Jonathan’s letter is shallow.

Former minister of aviation, Fani-Kayode said this during a phone interview with LEADERSHIP last night. His words: “it is inadequate, shallow it is inconsequential and it lacks merits.”

He also added that, “if President Jonathan is waiting for an apology from former President Obasanjo for raising fundamental questions about his administration, our nation and the welfare of our nation, he will wait forever.”

So far, efforts to get direct responses from Obasanjo through Deacon Victor Durodola, his chief of staff have met with a brick wall. LEADERSHIP reports that Obasanjo hasn’t responded to text messages sent to his phone.

Have you read the other reactions to Jonathan's letter? Some people think Jonathan only counter-accused OBJ of corruption without addressing the pertinent issues raised by OBJ in his letter...
