President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the National Council of State meeting holding in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa.
Present at the mmeting includes Goodluck Jonathan, Abubakar Abdulsalam, Chief Ernest Shonekan, while General Yakubu Gowon, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, Alhaji Shehu Shagari and Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo were absent.
Also absent are the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara.
