President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday said that with the new National Automotive Industry Policy approved by the administration, the country would soon start exportation of cars.
He said the new policy would aid industrialisation of the automotive sector, and assured that the administration would continue to encourage industrialists to grow.
The president promised that industrialists' basic needs such as road, power and port would be addressed appropriately.
He said his government was devoting attention and resources to the power sector because of its critical role in industrialisation, noting that housing and agriculture sectors were also receiving attention.
Vice President Namadi Sambo told the delegation that Jonathan had recently approved 3.7 billion dollar (about N580 billion) to improve power transmission across the country.
