Former Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo has been linked with a move to the South African football league(PSL)
According to a report on AfricanFootball.com, Yobo is said to be weighing his options about playing in South Africa and possibly ending his football career there.
The former Everton defender is currently without a club after he was released by Turkish clubside, Fenerbahce.
“Yobo fell in love with South Africa after leading Nigeria to both the 2010 World Cup and 2013 AFCON there. He even now wants to buy a house there and has already begun discussions in this regard,” someone close to the player was quoted to have said.
“He has not played again since the World Cup in Brazil in the summer, but he still believes he still has something to offer in the game.
“His likely destination will be one of the top three clubs in South Africa.”
