Members of the Sisters Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (SFIMN), popularly known as Shi’ites yesterday embarked on a street protest within the Kaduna Central Market to further press for the release of their leader, Sheik Ibrahim Zakzaky.
Their leader, Lubabatu Alhassan, while addressing newsmen urged well meaning Nigerians to join them to stand against what she termed “act of misuse of power and authority against unarmed citizens by the government”.
They vowed not to be part of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry established by the state government until their leader is released.
