The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Hon. Furuebi Akene, has disclosed how the kidnappers of his 78 years old mother, Madam Patimi Akene, threaten to cut off the head of his mother and deliver it to him on a plate.
The Commissioner described as “disconcerting” the continued search for his 78 years old Mother, who was abducted last week by armed gunmen at the Fonibiri Community of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the State.
He said though the abductors have reduced the ransom demand from N30million to N10million in the last few days, it is worrisome that the kidnappers threatened to cut off the head of his mother over his refusal to accede to the ransom demand.
