Jimi Agbaje, a Lagos State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has denied rumours linking him to National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.
According to DAILY POST, speaking at the Protea Hotel, Ikeja, during an interactive session with PDP youths and women leaders representing the 57 councils of the state, Agbaje said, "People say I am a mole, impossible. I have not benefited from Tinubu. I even supported his campaign financially.
"If anything, he owes me, so, I cannot be his mole. In fact, back in 2007, when some of us left the party, he told people that of all those who held grudges, only Jimi Agbaje had a justified grudge.
"I never went to Tinubu’s office, except once, and that was during the Ikeja Cantonment bomb blast. Even when he was giving out things, I did not take anything from him. I was the treasurer for Afenifere.
Agbaje also said that he has no plans of dumping the PDP if he wins the 2015 elections using the party's platform.
