Nigeria - The Lagos Publicity Secretary, for the All Progressive Congress, Mr.Joe Igbokwe,has urged Igbos in the state not to take too serious the words of Oba Rilwan Akiolu, who’d threatened to drown them in the Lagoon if the party fails to win the state’s gubernatorial elections.
According to Sahara Reporters, he said: "I really just urge the Igbos to please keep the peace they have always had with the Yorubas"-Joe Igbokwe on Oba Akiolu”
"Lagos has been good to the Igbo people and I urge them that they should not judge APC by the mere statement the Oba made" he added.
