Politics Lagos PDP: Obanikoro to Return to Defence Ministry After Losing Primaries

Musliu Obanikoro, former minister of state for defence who quit his appointment to contest the Lagos state Governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP will be returning to the defence ministry soon; NATIONAL MIRROR reports.

After losing to Jimi Agbaje at the Lagos PDP guber primaries, Obanikoro had headed to court; a move which ruffled many feathers in the party.

However, after a meeting at the aso rock presidential villa with vice president, Namadi Sambo at the Presidential Villa, Obanikoro agreed to return to his former position.

NATIONAL MIRROR claims that the announcement will be made today.

@Vunderkind, what is ridiculous in this? Most politicians have no other means of livelihood other than politics. Political portfolio is their last resort and they don't care what anybody says.

Man must chop. In 2011 when he lost to Fashola, he vied for another political position- which he also lost. He's a bit wiser now and has stopped beating about the bush. All he has to do now is make sure Jonathan wins in 2015, or else he's out of job.
