Early Thursday morning, students of Ladoke Akintola University Technology, Ogbomoso took their protest to Osun state government house, in Osogbo. The agitation was against stoppage of funding the institution and non-payment of their lecturers and other staff for the past eight months.
They had protested yesterday, marched through the major streets to the State Secretariat, and cause traffic gridlock.
Again very early Thursday morning, they organised themselves to the front of the Government House at Okefia.
They defied the rain, chanted anti-government songs and vowed to continue with the protest until the governors of Oyo and Osun States accede to their demands.
The protest is coinciding with the climax of activities marking the 60th birthday of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
