The fraud trial of Nigeria's Senate President, Bukola Saraki, continued on Thursday at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Here are 7 major events that happened during the trial.

1. Four Senators arrived at the court hours before Saraki, the man who is on trial, arrived. (read more here)
2. Lead Prosecution and Defence Counsels Rotimi Jacobs ( SAN) and Kanu Agabi arrived late.
3. The defense continued cross-examination of EFCC detective Simon Wetkas. He confirms there were some collaboration between CCB investigators & the EFCC team but that Saraki wasn't interrogated by both
4. Defense counsel Paul Usoro read 22 pages from a document verbatim allegedly with no clear point. People say it's a delay stratagem
5. Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Justice Umar Danladi, got angry at Saraki's lawyer and ordered that he be thrown out (read more about that here)
6. According to Sahara Reporters, Saraki's lawyer, Raphael Oluyede who had lost motions to stop His trial before a high court tried disrupting CCT trial
7. Tribunal proceedings were adjourned until Wednesday, April 27th by Justice Danladi Umar. Reports say the Court of Appeal is hearing Saraki's case appealing decision of the CCT to commence his trial on April 26th
