The Federal Government said on Wednesday Nigeria would celebrate this year’s Democracy Day by showcasing the achievements of President Goodluck Janathan’s administration in the last four years.
The Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku, stated this in Abuja while briefing State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, which was presided over by Jonathan.
He said that the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGOF) would coordinate a pragramme to commemorate the day on May 29 regardless of the terror attacks in some Northern parts of the country.
