Marc Dugain, a former airline director, has claimed that the US military have have shot down the Malaysian flight MH370 and covered it up.
The Frenchman, who used to head Proteus airlines said that the USA might have attacked the aircraft because it was afraid of a 9/11-type attack on a Military base in the Indian Ocean.
Marc wrote this for a French magazine Paris Match, claiming that the plane didn't crash where the international search teams have been looking, but close to an American military base in Diego Garcia.
“It’s an extremely powerful military base. It’s surprising that the Americans have lost all trace of this aircraft. Without getting into conspiracy theories, it is a possibility that the Americans stopped this plane,” Marc said to French Inter.
He said it was no accident that a 63-metre long object would disappear without a trace 'in our technological world.' He said it was a deliberate effort to hide evidence.
