There’s nothing more frustrating than finding an old voucher or gift receipt, celebrating a little bit and then realising it’s expired.
You can either try your charm at the shop and see if they’ll let you use it anyway, or you have the depressing task of throwing it in the bin thinking about what you could have had.
For most of us the upsetting waste is normally about £20, but when one man found an old plane ticket under his bed it was worth a LOT more. $400 to be exact
