Metro Man Jailed from Stealing Shoes at a Mosque in Abuja

A 28 year-old man of the name Isah Abdullahi was recently jailed by an Abuja Grade 2 Area Court in Kado estate, Abuja for stealing seven pairs of shoes from a mosque. The convected man has been sentenced to four years in prison without the option of fine.

Sentenced by the presiding officer of the court, Mr. Ahmed Ado, the convict pleaded guilty to the charge stated against him.

The Presiding Officer said that if someone could go to a mosque to steal, then he was not only heartless, but could do worse things anywhere else.

All my sec sch mates shd be jailed! all of them! all those days walking back to class or hostel without my slippers. it hurts to remember. btw, i think the judgement is too harsh.
